Law, Like Love
Law, Like Love
In 1977, I gave my first-ever storytime to a group of friends, all soon to be Law Librarians. All the stories and poems I told had law as their theme. Wystan Hugh Auden (1907-1973) included “Law Like Love” in his 1941 poetry book called Another Time, and I recited it as part of the evening’s entertainment.
This volume was made to commemorate the 35th anniversary of our graduation from the University of Washington School of LIbrary Science.
The text is 10pt. Century Gothic, printed on Neenah Classic Columns Writing Sub 24 paper using an HP 6988 Deskjet printer. Layout created in Apple Pages using a MacBook Pro. The accordion fold covers and box are of Iris bookcloth.
This is an edition of 6.
What follows is a photographic record of the step-by-step process for making this book.
